It started with a coffee shop

Inspired by Audrey, the failed assistance dog, Black Lab Coffee is a more than just a dog-friendly coffee shop.

It is a vehicle for the boss (Audrey the Black Labrador Retriever), her humans and the community to raise money for animal rescue groups, support animal adoption and promote responsible pet ownership. It’s about coming together to do good, all while enjoying delicious coffee.

Going digital

Regular fundraising events have been a part of Black Lab Coffee since its opening in 2016.  Since opening the world as we know it has changed and we are continually reinventing ourselves to find new ways in which we can continue to donate to rescue groups. We launched our online store in 2020 and have been designing and creating Labrador retriever specific products,  5% of every product sold from our Black Lab Coffee essentials range goes directly to Labrador Rescue.
